Yesterday's sermon was preached by Pastor Jerry Bilkus. The text was 2 Chronicles 12. This text is the story of how Israel, under Rehoboam, is invaded by the Egyptians. Pastor Bilkus focused more on Rehoboams personal relationship with God. Rehoboam would have had more than many Jews would have. He lived next to the temple, and would easily have been able to hear the messages of the priests and the prophets. However, his heart was not prepared for God, and he didn't receive him, thus all this came to nothing.
