Embargo is a version of Chinese Checkers (Or Halma). The goal is still the same, get your pieces into your opponent's starting position, but with a few twists. You can move your pieces like rooks in chess, but the biggest rule is that if two of your pieces are in the same row or column they create a wall that you can't pass.
The lines are walls that have been created. The blue square around the empty place is where the piece with the blue square around it used to be. You have now probably noticed that it moved over the wall. Well, here's a picture of what the board looked like previously.
Notice how the green piece had formed a wall with the green piece at 9C? You can go over your opponent's walls if you make a wall over it! This is called tunneling and is vital to winning. I would suggest getting a piece as far as you can across the board first so that you can use it to tunnel over walls, otherwise you willget crushed.
