The day had finally come. Clarence Thomas was taken to the Senate to answer to the unjust charges brought forth by Anita Hill. He went first, denied the charges, and declared the whole trial a sham, which didn't sit well with the Senators. After that, Hill did her testimony, which Thomas did not watch, instead going home to rest from the months of agony he had been through. However, his allies asked him to come back to make another statement sot that Hill's words wouldn't be the only thing in the news. Thomas went back nd told the Senate that they were trying to intellectually lynch him. The American people agreed with him, and the White House was flooded with calls all supporting Thomas.
