Book Progress

 I've been writing for the past year a story that I've titled The Time of Tears. Most of the other stories I've written have been about twenty chapters long at the longest, with my last two being about fifteen chapters long. The Time of Tears is not only double the length, at forty-one chapters plus an epilogue and a prologue, as well as clocking in at 200,000 words. The length is because the story I created for it is not only much longer and more structured than I typically write, but it also broadens the scale with two main characters and about five side characters that get their own arcs and chapters. A few weeks ago, I posted an excerpt from the prologue of the rough draft, which I'm still working on but am making headway.
