Yesterday's sermon was preached by Pastor Isaac Epp at Covenant United Reformed Church. The text was Phillipians 4:4, and the theme was Christian joy. The sermon outlined seven things that Christians can learn about joy, something we should be interested in because God tells us that we should be joyful in his world (Psalm 32:11 for example). These seven points included that joy doesn't come from us, true joy comes only from Christ, and that we shouldn't pursue joy for its own end, joy is a path, not a destination.
