Yesterday's sermon was preached by Pastor Chris Engelsma. The text was John 19. Yesterday was Palm Sunday, which is celebrated in remembrance of the day Jesus rode into Jerusalem and the people there welcomed him as their king (Only to kill him a few days later but that's a different story). When Jesus rode into Jerusalem he was on a mission of peace. He didn't ride into Jerusalem on a warhorse, he came on a donkey and not even a full-grown one at that.
