Laud

Back in the old days of England, there was a man named Laud. He was a semi-protestant and semi-Roman Catholic at the same time. Basically, it seemed that all he really wanted was cash and honor. Anyway, ignoring the remonstrances of his Bishop, he moved the table of his church from one side of the room to where it had been when the church was Roman Catholic. This, of course, implied that he wanted the church to return to Roman Catholicism. The village that he preached at made a huge uproar, but he ignored them too. Oh well...
