I finished The Lone Wagon and started another book that starts inside a schoolhouse. The kid insides the schoolhouse is trying to learn some Latin and failing badly when he notices a squirrel outside. He watches as a fox attempts to catch the squirrel but is chased away by a dog. All of a sudden he gets caught by his teacher, rebuked, basically told that he was stupid, and sent home. What a day.
