Sermon Report

Yesterday's sermon was preached in Covenant United Reformed Church. The text of the sermon skipped through Acts 7, as the whole chapter needed to be looked at and there was not ample time to read exactly sixty verses. This chapter was where Stephen defended himself before the Great Sanhedrin, before the people in a fury brought him outside the city and stoned him to death. The point of the sermon is that we could be the people who stoned Stephen, the hypocrites.
