Economics

 The world has been steadily growing, even the poor countries, for a while. Countries that were poor and destitute, such as India and China, are now becoming richer and richer. The world has also been globalizing. Cooperation between countries in trade has gone up significantly since the end of World War II and the fall of communism, and all things indicate that it will continue to grow and globalize, until the world becomes one market.
