Atomic Habits 18

Sometimes making a habit of something good can be a bad thing. We become stuck in a rut, and we can't improve it, and studies show that there is even a slight decline in performance after a habit has been made. For some things this is fine. We don't need to tie our shoes more efficiently, but with things like your career, it can be disasterous. The way to fix it is to review and "tally up your score" to see how well your doing. This will help motivate you to improve.
