How Stories Can Change the World

The best way to change America is through the entertainment industry, or more specifically the stories people read and watch. This is because the real problem with America is not the system, the system works (Granted it has its flaws but so does everything). The fact that we've been a country for about 250 years and have been able to hold an election every four years and the country is still intact testifies to that fact. The real problem is the culture, and culture is not affected by tax laws, but it is greatly affected by the stories it makes (For example Uncle Tom's Cabin helped end slavery). When the only stories Hollywood gives us (Books are unfortunately pretty much moot at this point) celebrate things like sex, rebellion, and drugs it's no wonder that our culture is a "sexual wilderness", as Chuck Colson puts, is rebelling and is addicted to drugs. Yes, some of this fault can be laid on the shoulders of the brainwashing system known as "school", but I think a good portion of it can be slapped on Hollywood. The Daily Wire, a conservative podcast group, has started making their own feature films, and hopefully, they won't reflect Hollywood.
Answers.TV (Founded by AiG) is a good thing; however, I'm sorry, but remakes of Shakespeare aren't going to become blockbusters. We need new stories, and we need good new stories. Practically every single film that pushes a political agenda (Even Senator Bilbo an anti-trump Lord of the Rings book) flumps big time. We need to make stories for the sake of the story. However, every story has a moral, and if we stop making stories with morals like "Drugs are good" and "Killing everyone who disagrees with you si remarkably effective" the culture will change.
