Libertarians further claim that war gives the government more power (That almost always becomes permanent according to them). This is technically true, though the power it is given does not usually affect the citizens (Unless if it calls a draft or begins to tax them heavily to fund the war). They also say that the government twists everything to make more war stuff to extend its power. This would be true if governments didn't want to control more, but now all of the sudden the Libertarians turn around and claim that the government doesn't want to control more. They say that communist Russia has no interest in conquering more countries. This makes no sense because the Soviet Union gobbled up nearly all of Asia and some of Europe.
I don't trust the libertarians with foreign policy.
