OT Survey Report
The prophets in the bible are sorted out into groups, minor and major. The minor prophets are no less important than the major, but they are labeled minor because they are shorter than the major. So short that in Jewish cannon they are all one book and called the Book of the Twelve. Jeremiah is preaching before the exile, he warns the Jews of what is to come. Isiah does the same, only he does it with the Israelites. Ezekiel is in exile, but he writes to warn the Jews who remained in Jerusalem what will happen to them if they resist, and also tells those in exile that God plans to restore them to theirshome. The minor prophets are mixed. Some preach before the exile, some during, and some after. Yet they all follow one common theme, God's plan.
