Battle of Midway Aftermath

In the aftermath of the battle of Midway, the Japanese fleet limped home. The Americans gave the Yorktown one last salute as she went under. The Japanese propaganda team declared a great victory, even though many of their navy's leaders had to be rushed to hospitals. The exact details of the battle were kept secret, and any that questioned it disappeared. The Americans were welcomed home to cheers and trumpets. The admiral of the fleet went personally to the intelligence agency to thank the codebreakers that gave them the information necessary for victory.
