Yesterday's sermon was preached by Pastor Chris Engelsma. The text was Numbers 16:48. This passage relates to the story of Korra and his followers. Korra and his followers objected to Moses and Aaron being the leaders of Israel when all of the saints are just as holy as the next, which is true. Dathan and Abiram also had the same issue, saying that since Reuben was the eldest, therefore the tribe of Reuben should rule Israel. Notably, Reuben and Abiram were Reubenites. Korra, Dathan, and Abiram and their followers were later destroyed when God finally had had enough of their rebellion.
