Darwinism and Communism 2

 Even though the Communist government was not expressly atheistic or religious in most ways, Lenin did feel that getting religion, especially Christianity, was necessary as atheism was the way of science and progress. College students were told that religion was for people with simple minds and that they were too intelligent for religion. Communist youth societies always had The Origin of Species high at the top. Atheism was pushed in the Russian society heavily, and Darwinism was the reason.
