Ota

 Ota was a Pygmy that was kidnapped from Africa and sold to be part of the entertainment at a fair. His life was shattered, when reportedly after a successful elephant hunting expedition he came home to find his family slaughtered by a gang of white mercenaries working for a small European nation. Later, he was kidnapped and acquired by a man named Varner who took him to America, promising to return him to Africa. He didn't. Instead, Ota was sold to a fair when Varner fell on hard times. Ota's life was hard. he was ostracized by the other members of his race because he was clanless since his entire clan and family had been slaughtered. His white masters treated him like an animal. Ota was, however, clearly not one. He possessed many skills, being a master hunter and also incredibly skilled at a tribal art thought lost.
