Chinese Expansion

The people that would later become the Chinese had a beginning very different from the beginning of most civilizations and is probably a factor of how their civilization became so much more advanced than other civilizations, arguably even more advanced than the Europeans in some places. The Chinese leaders realized that having a large population was the key to power, and having a large population meant also having lots and lots of food. They moved away from mountainous regions to places where food could be more easily grown. They developed irrigation and fertilization systems even more sophisticated than that of India. Their population exploded, and they simply began to shove away other groups.
