Light From Old Times

A man named Samuel Ward was one of the least known martyrs that were murdered during the reign of Bloody Mary. He was actually condemned for a brief time and stripped of his Bishopric, but it was only for a short while and then it was given back. However, after some time had passed he was sentenced to the Tower. His people refused to take any other bishop but Ward, so grat was his Faith.
