Sproul Report

Immediate does not immediate. Confused? Probably. In theology, immediate means without a mediator. God's glory is revealed in two ways, through Nature, and through Our Nature. Both our immediate. God's glory is revealed to us through Nature because his handiwork can be seen in his creation, just as you might see a painting and recognize the style of da Vinci or Van Gogh (Correct me if I got the name wrong.). His glory can also be seen through us. In everybody created is a sense of religion, as can be seen through history. Every civilization has had a religion of some sort. Most of these religions were grossly immoral, but they were there all the same. Every human is filled with a desire to believe something. All of this relates to God. He planted this searching feeling in us to lead us to him, as Sproul proved in the third chapter of Essential Truths of the Christian Faith. That's all for this post. See you next week.
