Sermon Report

Today's sermon was preached by Pastor Al Martin in Trinity Baptist Church, which is located somewhere in New Jersey. It was on the necessity of salvation. Pastor Al Martin noted that a famous preached, whose last name was Whitfield, preached every single time on salvation, and a person who had heard many of his sermons, perhaps irritated by hearing essentially the same sermon over and over, asked him why he did it. Mr. Whitfield replied that it was the most important subject. Pastor Al Martin said that after checking his records, he had not preached on this subject for seven years. Therefore, he preached on it this night, or morning, or whatever time it was recorded. After stating this, he began the sermon. He said that if you just wanted to get it over with, and then you left, to remember one thing. The thing was that Christ could save you, and would if you asked.
