Wealth Growth Over Time

If you look at a graph that shows the growth of GDP over time, you'll see that recently it spiked up super high, but that's not taking into account that the economy itself has grown bigger. That's why economists use something called a  ratio scale. You'll see then that our economy actually doubles approximately every 35 years.
