Growth miracles are when a country experiences sudden bursts of growth. For example, Japan used to be a very poor country. However, after World War II, its economy exploded, and now it's one of the most prosperous countries in the world. China and several other countries' economies also had this happen to them. Argentina on the other hand had an economy greater than that of Japan. However, instead of growing quickly, Argentina grew very slowly, until Japan had an economy double that of Argentina.
