Yesterday's sermon was by Pastor Engelsma. The text was Ecclesiastes 2 and the first question of the Heidelberg Catechism. Ecclesiastes is all about showing us that nothing on this earth can satisfy us, not money, our bodies, our accomplishments, our careers, our grades, nothing "under the sun". The Heidelberg Catechism says that there is only one comfort that we can have in our life and death, and what is that? The answer is that God is with us, through pain and joy, and even through death.
