A Non Christian Director, but a Movie That Celebrate Christian Values
An author's values heavily, no completely, affect the stories they write. Their worldview is what adds morals to their stories. From this, you might think that stories written by non-Christians will celebrate non-christian values, but it's more complicated than that. For example, the How to Train Your Dragon director Dean Deblois is gay, and not a Christian, but he directed a movie that celebrates traditional family, responsibility and loss in a Christian way. All people seem to have some kind of sense about what is good, and this comes out in stories. When people see/read a story where people do evil things, they can feel that the actions are evil. They can also see and feel what things are good. They know that the friendships and families portrayed in How to Train Your Dragon are good, no matter what other people say.
