Atomic Habits 7

If you want to make a new habit, you have to make it attractive to your brain. We like eating junk food because our brains have been programmed to reward us when we eat lots of calories. We like going on social media because our brain has been programmed to reward us when we get praise, and you can get lots of that on social media. So if we want to say, exercise more, then we need to link exercising with something that we do like, such as watching videos on YouTube.
