Many Christians are confused about Imprecatory Psalms. Is it right to curse our enemies? To want God to destroy them and obliterate even their memory from the Earth? The answer is that these Psalms are not to be understood as curses so much but to be thought of more as an attorney's suggestions. For example, a lawyer might suggest that a violator pay the victim $1,000,000 as compensation. Imprecatory Psalms should be understood as such a suggestion.
