Libertarians think that all police should be private companies. This is probably the worst idea they have. What kind of world would we have if everyone could hire thugs with guns to do whatever they want. The police would enforce whatever they want, and not any moral based law. People who couldn't afford police protection would be bullied, beaten up, and stolen from. Everything would be complete anachry.
