Boundaries - Chapter 12 (Yourself)

We might find that our "no" is very effective when setting boundaries, but it can be disastrous if we try to use our "no" on ourselves for one simple reason. It doesn't work. We can't say "no" to ourselves. We cannot change our out of control behavior with sheer willpower. The only way to change it is by plugging into relationships that can support us. These people should be able to confront the other lovingly, not nagging or parenting them (No one needs more than two parents). This way, the person will be able to change.
