Anatomy of the Spine

 Your spine is made up of a bunch fo bones called vertebrae that connect with the on below and on top of it in a joint. This extends from the skull to the tailbone (Which if you are human confusingly has nothing to do with a  tail). Between each of these joints is a pad of soft cartilage that acts as shock absorbers in a car. Together they allow your torso to move.
