Review: The First Disobedience

The First Disobedience is chapter one of Bible Autobiographies and Other Bible Stories by Harriet Elizabeth (Incidentally the book's Centennial is next year.). The book takes an interesting approach to classic bible stories by telling them in concise two to three pages and from a first-person viewpoint. The First Disobedience is the first chapter and somewhat obviously on the fall of man, as told by Eve. The book makes very good use of the first-person in this chapter. Its a lot easier to step into the story, even though we've all heard it dozens of times. It's different from the way bible stories are usually told, and I think it works better.
