OT Survey Report

Prophets arrived in times of crisis. They delivered words from God about what he wanted them to do. If it was a time when Israel was being unfaithful, the prophets said what God wanted them to do to repent. If they were to be punished, they said the punishment, and when they were to be delivered. After the Israelites returned from exile, the prophets helped them regain their identity as God's chosen people.
