Scratch is a huge site, with
- 333,006,440 pageviews
- 53,209,150 visits
- 18,366,900 unique visitors
and around 55 million (!) shared projects ranging from games, animations, art, tutorials, engines, and more. A lot of the games lack polishing and effort, but many are real masterpieces and it's hard to believe they came from a site designed for kids, but which one's are the best? Look no further! These are the top three scratch games (In my opinion of course. Your opinions may differ so let me know in the comments.).
Coming in third place is Arena by TheChaotic.
The game is a brawler featuring many different game modes and a ton of customizability. You can customize everything from your avatar, the difficulty, perks, and practically everything else. The game was shared on January 25, 2017, and still has active players! It has a 1.5 million views and around 20,000 loves and favorites.
I had a bit of a struggle deciding second place, but in the end, I decided Raven Tale by Thintin would get a spot on the board.
The game is probably the best RPG on Scratch, featuring amazing pixel art, smooth gameplay, around a dozen abilities, a story involving ravens (Of course), and some tricky bosses to keep things spicy. It is underrated, unfortunately, with only 450 loves, and 400 favorites.
And now, the best game on scratch (In my opinion)! Despite the terrible title, Simple RPG 3 by RendHeaven, it is enormously popular.
It was released on March 25, 2020, and currently has 64,100 views, and 4000 loves and favorites. You can team up online with other people around the world fight through waves of enemies to beat the game, but don't think that's all you do. If you don't concentrate, you will go down. Strategy is fused seamlessly throughout. It also has around a dozen different abilities and you can send emotes and messages to your partner.
So that's that! I hope you enjoyed reading, let me know your favorite scratch games down in the comments!
