Pixel Art Attempts

I have been working on yet more pixel art and I am not doing all that great. I'm working on drawing a player for my next game on Scratch, and have gone through four different results that have taken me a couple hours to make, all of which are not good. Unfortunately, I deleted all of them so I can't show any pictures. I'll keep trying, and research it a little bit until I can get something that resembles what I want to resemble. I'll post a picture of my next attempt here once I finish it.
