Sermon Report

Today's sermon was preached by Reverand Bergsma (Senior). He continued the series on Ruth started last week by Pastor Bergsma (Junior?). His text was Rth 1:16-17, Ruth's vow that she would not leave Naomi. His sermon was on the choices that Naomi confronted on Ruth and Oprah. They could return to Moab and life of sinfulness, or continue with Naomi to Israel, and a harder life. Oprah chose to return, and Ruth chose to continue with Naomi. This text shows us how all of us at one point in our lives are confronted with a choice, God, or the World.
