Archimedes was a greek scientists that had massive influences in a lot of fields, especially science and math. however, his pet was geometry. His feats includes accurately estimating the distance between the Earth and the sun and the diameter of the Earth, as well as coming up with the ratio between the diameter of a circle and it's circumference, known today as Pi. He was so skilled that the Romans, when conquering grace, ordered that he be kept alive. However, one Roman soldier in the heat of battle accidentally killing him, cutting his discoveries short.
