Yesterday's sermon was preached by Pastor Chris Engelsma. The text was Romans 8:1-17, and we also studied the question and answer eight of the catechism. The first point of Tulip is Total Depravity. This is the doctrine that we are all totally depraved. We can't do anything good without the grace of God, because our motives will be wrong. Only believers can do good works that please God.
