Darwinism and Genocide

Darwin's theory had a significant impact on history. Not only is it accepted and taught as fact in most schools even though it's still a theory, but it also gave the evilest men in history justification to slaughter millions. Hitler believed Jews were an evolutionary inferior race, so he tried to kill them all off, resulting in millions dead of all races. Stalin killed millions that he deemed inferior for simply being not white or being a Christian (He thought people that believed in religion had weak minds.). Mao killed the most people out of any communist dictator, and he too believed strongly in Darwinism and used it to justify his deeds. Darwin never actively and openly supported these evils, but he acquiesced and in private even agreed with them, making him the father of the most devastating events in history.
