Coollidge

 Coolidge came as a bit of a shock to the political world when he first started doing things in it in earnest. He was a republican, but held some progressive ideals, and would willingly work with progressives, but absolutely refused to become one. People thought he was a traitor and a hypocrite, but Calvin Coolidge did not care. He did what he thought was right and would fit his country, and if that meant working with the other side, so be it. It's n attitude that America has completely lost, and desperately needs to regain.
