What Exactly is a Communist System?

Communism is and was a very powerful ideology, but not all communist systems are what they appear. Communist systems generally have two phases. The first phase is when it's proponents are full of revolutionary zeal, and when the party seizes power and ;puts a communist system into place. The second is when a generation has grown up under communist rule and the country's leaders are faced with he problems of running a country. Communist systems do not always fall when their leaders are overthrown. For example, the USSR technically ceased to be a communist system under the rule of Goprbachev, a communist. Communist systems also can cease to be communist and become more socialist, like China, which retains some communist aspects but has discarded others.
