Sticky Wages

Sticky Wages is an economic term that describes the phenomenon of unchanging wages. Employers do not like lowering wages, even if it might help the company and economy in general because employees that have received a wage cut get angry, cause trouble, don't work as hard, and generally lower company morale. Usually, it's better to just fire some employees and make all the bad feeling leave the building completely.
