Yesterday's sermon was preached by pastor Bilkus. The text was Ephesians 1:6-8. The theme was God's acceptance of sinners, and the points were needed by sinners, secured for sinners, and lavished on sinners.
Sometimes we feel like we aren't accepted by our friends or family. Paul was not accepted by the Jews, the Church for a time, the Gentiles, and the authorities. But he knew he was accepted by God, and he wanted to bring this acceptance to others. Sinners all need God and his acceptance. The acceptance and redemption God gives us is free and priceless, and it will take an eternity to magnify God's grace.
