Human Capital

Human capital is similar to physical capital in many ways. It depreciates; people get old, retire, or die. One of the biggest differences between the two types of capital is education. Human capital can be made more useful through education, but there is a limit to how much education a country should give. Teaching everybody about the theory of relativity probably is not going to increase that country's GDP, because not everybody needs that information.
