Pixar in a Box is a course on Khan Academy about how Pixar makes films. The course covers everything, including animation and storytelling. Since I'm not that interested in animation, I only took the story makingunit. The course was very helpful in helping to formulate what a good story really is, with little focus on worldbuilding which many stories fall into and make them unrelatable (Looking at you Ranger's Apprentice...). It also gave a lot of practical tips on making stories, such at the story spine.
This is really helpful in the early stages, when you only have a few ideas. It helps get your thoughts organized. All in all, the course is perfect for those who want to become storytellers. It covers everything from storymaking, pitching your story, and even making drawings for a storyboard. Highly recommended!
