Rivals for Catan is a two-player card game based in the world of Catan. This game revolves more around constructing buildings inside the settlements then building settlements. These buildings can give you anything from Victory Points to special advantages. There is also the event card stack, which can be used to deal destruction upon your opponent or inflict crippling penalties on you! This game is really good for those who like to play with cards instead of board games, the setup time is a lot less, and you can play it with only two people, which is awesome!
