The Tower family continues their lonely trek across the prairies wilderness, only now with an addition. Ellis has joined them and plans to marry Barbara in Oregon. The two were scouting in the morning when they found a band of Indians. They quickly returned to Joe to report the discovery, the Indians came, and after inspecting Barbara ran away.
