Hannibal

Hannibal decided to conquer everything in his path on the way to the Alps. Why? Because he felt like it, and it would give him much-needed supplies and morale for the soldiers. One country when they discovered this offered to be Hannibals friend and gave him hostages and food. Hannibal accepted them warily, however as he continued to march, he was ambushed by these traitors. He made his way out of their land successfully however and continued towards Rome.
