Invasion of Asia Begins

Alexander the Great passed his forces into Asia through the region where the City of Troy was rumored to have been. The Illiad and the Odyssey had been one of his chief companions as he grew up in King Phillip's, his father, court. Now he roamed among the ruins of Troy and saw the mountain, river, and plain mentioned in the great tales. We will see how the famous Achilles impacted Alexander the Great on his quest to conquer most of the known world.
