Outline of Church History

A fire was beginning to burn in the Holy Roman Empire. England began to refuse to give the Pope tribute or to obey his orders. The Kings gradually took control of their Kingdom, and England's people were no longer ruled by a man in Italy who had probably never even been in England. Wycliffe was the spark that started the Reformation, which was turned into a raging inferno by Luther and his 95 theses. The corruption was beginning to be reversed.
